PROCEDURES FOR APPLYING FOR A LICENSE TO IMPORT MOBILE PHONES

Mobile phones are imported goods subject to conditions: they have an import license issued by the Ministry of Information and Communications (Circular 18/2014/TT-BTTTT dated November 26, 2014); People who do customs clearance or customs clearance need to go through the procedure to apply for a mobile phone import license from the Ministry of Information and Communications.

1. Product testing (testing of transceiver frequencies); Profile includes:

2. Making a certificate of conformity; Profile includes:

– Copy: Business registration certificate of the enterprise

3. Apply for a permit; Profile includes:

– License application

– Copy: Contract

– Copy: Business registration certificate of the enterprise

Time to return results: is 7 working days.

4. Announcement of regulation conformity; Profile includes:

– Form of announcement of regulation conformity (copy)

- Certificate of conformity (copy)

– Technical documents: specifications, manuals (copy)

- Business registration certificate of the enterprise (copy)

Time to return results: is 7 working days.

After importing goods, the company has to put a supplementary label, and a "CR" conformity label to circulate the goods to the market. These two labels can be separated independently or combined; The company orders or prints the decals on the phone box in a position that does not coincide with the main information shown on the box.

5. Registration of import declarations; Profile includes:

– Import declaration form (printed on VNACCS software)

– Letter of introduction (original)

When carrying out registration procedures, the registrar will deduct the amount on the import license. When inspecting the actual goods, the inspection officer will check and compare the imei number on the phone and the declaration file. Imported goods must be 100% new, and the entire shipment must be inspected upon import
